We are looking for a Data Scientist for Virtual Power Plant Optimization at ison.energy.
Your tasks
You will take ownership and professionalize the optimization model of our Virtual Power Plant in Prosumer business
You integrate and model Prosumer and Energy Market Use Cases
You develop algorithms and machine learning models to make predictions, derive recommendations, or automate decision making
You work with energy experts, data analysts and engineering team
Your skills:
You have successfully completed a scientific or mathematical degree, or a comparable formation
You master linear optimization and have substantial experience in energy data modelling
You master statistics and have some experience in the field of data science, ideally in the context of forecasting applications
You are able to conceptualize, organize and build small Python programs whilst following coding conventions and best practices
You are able to explain and visualize complex issues in an easily understandable way and enjoy communicating with colleagues from your own and other teams
Written and spoken English is no problem for you
